Getting Started

What is Opus Lingua?
Opus Lingua is an AI-powered translation service specifically designed for Dynamics 365 Business Central Excel translation files. It uses Claude AI to provide accurate, context-aware translations for your localization needs.
What file formats are supported?

We support Excel files (.xlsx and .xls) with LCID-based columns. Your file should have columns named with language codes like 1033 (English), 1031 (German), 1036 (French), etc.

Compatible with:

  • D365 Translation Exports - Native Dynamics 365 translation files exported from the customization area containing entity and field labels.
  • XRMToolbox EasyTranslator - Excel exports from the popular EasyTranslator tool, including multi-sheet files with entities, attributes, views, forms, and other components.
How do I get started?
  1. Create a free account - you'll get 100 credits to start
  2. Create a project to organize your translations
  3. Upload your D365 Excel file
  4. Select source and target languages
  5. Download your translated file when complete

Credits & Pricing

How do credits work?
1 credit = 100 translation entries. Credits are deducted based on the number of empty cells that need translation in your target language columns. Credits never expire!
What happens if a translation fails?
We automatically refund credits for any failed translations. If a job fails completely, you'll receive a full refund. For partial failures, you'll be refunded proportionally.
Are credits refunded if I cancel a job?

It depends on when you cancel the job:

  • Pending jobs: If you cancel a job before it starts processing, you will receive a full credit refund.
  • Processing jobs: If you cancel a job that is already being processed, credits will NOT be refunded because translation work has already been started and API costs have been incurred.

Note: Jobs that fail due to system errors are always automatically refunded regardless of their state.

Do credits expire?
No! Your credits never expire. You can use them whenever you need translations.

Languages & Translation

Which languages are supported?
We support 30+ languages including: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Turkish, Polish, and many more European and Asian languages.
How accurate are the translations?
We use Claude AI which provides highly accurate, context-aware translations. The AI understands D365 terminology and produces translations suitable for enterprise software. For critical content, we always recommend a human review.
Can I translate to multiple languages at once?
Yes! You can select multiple target languages in a single job. All empty cells in your selected target language columns will be translated.

Account & Security

Is my data secure?
Yes! Your files are encrypted during upload and storage. We use Azure Blob Storage with enterprise-grade security. Files are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can export all your data from the Account Settings > Privacy & Data page. This includes your profile, projects, jobs, and transaction history.
